A proud member of the Blacklisted car club in California, Jesus “Chuy” Bahena is a passionate Mini Cooper owner who’s trying to make a name for himself in the Mini community.
I met Chuy at Tuner Evolution in Anaheim, CA, a show dedicated to showcasing the best custom cars in the area. Chuy’s 2010 Mini Cooper S immediately caught my eye as I walked past it. The car was equipped with Godspeed coilovers, a cold air intake, fully forged internals engine, flares on the exterior, and F1R wheels with Toyo Proxes tires.
Chuy’s Mini Cooper was clearly a labor of love, and he was eager to share his passion for cars with anyone who would listen. He talked animatedly about the car’s engine, suspension, and wheels, explaining how each modification helped improve the car’s performance and appearance. The faster it went, he said, the more fun it was to drive.
Chuy’s a super friendly car enthusiast who loves to meet other car enthusiasts.
